ShutterLand warrants to the original purchaser that each individual
shutter product, properly finished, properly installed, and
properly maintained will be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for the lifetime of the shutters from the
date of sale.
This warranty covers one-way transportation cost of
shutters when returned for a valid warranty claim. ShutterLand
will ship the corrected product at its own expense. Shipping
costs to the factory for warranty claims shall be prepaid
by the buyer. For non-valid warranty claims or repairs, all shipping costs shall be paid by the customer. A
return authorization number must be obtained from ShutterLand
prior to returning merchandise.
ShutterLand must be notified of any claims for incorrectly made or initially defective merchandise within 10 days of receipt, and before shutters are altered in any manner or installation is attempted.

Shutters by ShutterLand are manufactured to industry standards.
Minor imperfections or blemishes not easily noticeable under
ordinary lighting conditions in normal installations are not
considered defects. Warp of any component that does not exceed
1/32" per foot will not be considered a defect.
This warranty does not include any conditions or damages caused as a result from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, misapplication, exposure to the elements, fire, flood, improper maintenance, failure to follow use or care instructions, or acts of God. This warranty does not cover any servicing costs incurred for installation adjustment or minor repairs (such as staple replacement) or conditions characteristic to the product caused by normal wear and tear. ShutterLand will not be responsible for trip charges, measuring, disassembly, removal, reassembly, or packing costs.
Immediately check all shipments for damage and or shortages. Discovery of shortage or damage is the customer’s responsibility. ShutterLand must be notified within 10 days of receipt of merchandise. ShutterLand will quickly assess the situation and repair or remake the damaged or missing merchandise.
If possible, note the visible freight damage on the delivering driver’s freight bill. Keep all packing in which the order was shipped for future inspection by the freight company.
Products that do not meet our quality standards will be repaired
or, if repair is not possible, remade. We will not be responsible
for faulty installation, incorrect measurements, incorrect
specifications, or alteration by any other party.
We reserve the right to inspect products prior to repair or
remake. Non-defective or altered products will be returned
freight collect without credit being issued or repair being
made. ShutterLand will not be responsible for any unauthorized
repair charges from another party.
Repair or remake of any defective product will be done only
to the original size and specifications.

Traditional "Special Savings
& Quick Ship" shutter panels (36 sizes)
may be returned (at customer's expense) within 10 days of
receipt for a refund, less a 20% re-stocking charge. Prior
to returning products, call ShutterLand for a return authorization
number. Shutters returned must be in their original condition
with no alterations.
All other Traditional shutter panels & all Plantation
shutter panels
are made to order and therefore are not cancelable or returnable,
except for warranty replacement or repair (see "Warranty
Period").
Payment Terms: Full payment is charged before an order is put into production.
This warranty does not imply automatic replacement of any product. ShutterLand reserves the right to repair or replace any product at its discretion.
This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities, or warranties. In no event shall ShutterLand be liable for or responsible for incidental or consequential damages or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense, or fee.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so such limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. |
